Carla has more than a decade of experience in the New York real estate market, representing clients in the sale and purchase of coops and condos throughout Manhattan, and playing an integral role in the marketing and leasing of several new rental developments in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Having been both a buyer and a seller herself, she understands what it is to be on both sides of a sales transaction—not only the practical and financial considerations that are at play, but the emotional weight of deciding to buy or sell a home. Dedicated, knowledgeable and down-to-earth, she excels at understanding and addressing her client’s specific needs, interests and concerns.
She has represented estate sales, as well as out-of-town sellers, which often require handling every aspect of the transaction in the absence of the owner (from donating and organizing the sale of household items and furniture, to facilitating and overseeing minors renovations, as well as staging the property). Likewise, she has represented overwrought buyers (locally, as well as out-of-state), coordinating and overseeing cosmetic improvements to the property prior to their move-in.
As an undergraduate at NYU, she triple-majored—completing majors in English & American Literature, Psychology, and Acting. She ultimately received a B.F.A. from Tisch School of the Arts, where she later returned to obtain an M.A. in Performance Studies.
A member of SAG-AFTRA and the Actors’ Equity Association, throughout the years Carla has worked as performer, writer and producer, and remains actively engaged in the performing arts. She has worked as a Teaching Artist and/or volunteered her time with a number of institutions and organizations, including: The Possibility Project, the Center for Court Innovation, the Screen Actors Guild’s BookPALS program, Casita Maria, and the Writers Guild Initiative.
If you have any questions regarding the sale or purchase of a property, please don’t hesitate to contact her for an in-depth consultation by phone or in person.
