As a respected, proven leader and seasoned residential real estate broker, Chris Lipman brings 18 years of Real Estate experience and 20 years of Management experience to his role as Residential Sales Manager. Well-known for his affable personality and keen understanding of the Manhattan market, he is now responsible for managing the sales force of the fastest growing brokerage in NYC.
Chris is an "Upper West Side Enthusiast" having lived in this fantastic neighborhood for over 30 years. He knows every aspect of the condo and coop market here and throughout Manhattan. His clients continually comment on how he helps to make what is one of the most stressful transactions in one's life a smooth, enjoyable experience.
Prior to joining Rutenberg, Chris was Director of Sales with both Harlem Lofts Inc. and Tungsten Property. Before that, he was with Carol E. Levy Real Estate, one of Manhattan’s top independent residential real estate firms.
Chris has been an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York since 2001 and served as co-chair in a leadership position from 2008 - 2012.
Born and raised in NYC he graduated from The Cooper Union with a BFA in Photography and a special interest in Architecture.
While Chris is an accomplished professional who is always available to support his team, outside of work he enjoys quality time with friends and family on the Upper West Side.
