Geraldine Onorato was born into the business. Her mother was a broker in Scarsdale, NY for over 30 years. Because of her upbringing and history, 13 years ago Geri decided to become a New York City agent herself. She brings a unique sales and rental perspective, including considerable expertise with international clients. She has been a landlord as well as a renter, buyer, investor and seller of Manhattan real estate. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for both her co-op in NYC and her Condo Association on Fire Island, NY.
Geri has extensive experience in Advertising and Marketing. She was an Advertising Art Director, first at Harpers Bazaar, then as Creative Director for fashion and beauty at Bloomingdales, and finally as Creative Director of Wellman, Inc., in their home division. She brings this experience directly to her customers, asserting that “Real Estate is a marketing business”. Whether staging an apartment for the seller, or helping a buyer recognize the potential of a space, Geri is well equipped to advise her clients on the tasks necessary for a successful closing.
Geri believes real estate is about creating lasting relationships. Her strong work ethic and ability to listen to her clients enables her to match her customer's needs with the home and neighborhood that best suits them, whether they are first time buyers or seasoned investors. She considers this particular facet of the real estate profession as important as successfully marketing NY properties for her sellers. This has resulted in a large and loyal clientele.
In 2013, Geri joined forces with her brother, Frederick Onorato Esq., a real estate attorney and broker himself, to form Team O, a results oriented team within R New York specializing in residential real estate in New York City, successfully representing sellers and purchasers of condos and co-ops. Team O recognizes that every buyer and seller's needs are unique, and Team O has the knowledge and experience to expertly guide them through the real estate process. With $50+ million in recent sales and rentals, their proven track record demonstrates that they consistently exceed clients' expectations.
